The former U.S. government compliance officer has been providing a full range of tax & financial products and services to individuals and businesses for over 30 years.  In addition to his multiple years of financial/business experience, Derrick Alford is also a member of the Better Business Bureau, and the Metropolitan Business League.

Xzavia studied Accounting and Business Administration at Christopher Newport University and proceeded to work in public accounting as an auditor and tax professional. He ensures compliance with the ever-changing laws and focuses his attention on clientele who require tax help. As an auditor, Xzavia works with non-profit organizations and works as consultant Xzavia on internal controls, budget preparation, bequest income, and audit readiness.

Pamela completed full summer internships at Sony Music under the Columbia Records division as a Publicity Intern and also MTV Networks as a Television Production Intern in New York, New York.  She also completed 2 internships back home in Virginia which included Studio Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia as a Casting Intern and also The American Theater in Hampton, Virginia as a Production Stage Crew Lead.  Pamela received her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications/ General Broadcast in 2008 and in 2010 she moved to New York and worked in Advertising Sales at CBS.  By 2011, Pamela had a vision to create an agency that could encompass her dream of creatively working with businesses. With passion, strong will and good faith Pamela left her position as a Television Account Executive to build The Iconic Group LLC and her career as a branding consultant. The Iconic Group is the only innovation agency in the Hampton Roads area. We are focused on bringing the art of brand engineering to every business and professional seeking a distinctive voice and an innovative presence.

Martin started with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) with the South Carolina District Office in July of 2016 as the Economic Development and Public Affairs Specialist. Martin’s job was to promote and expand the SBA’s brand, services, and resources offered by the agency. In addition, he assisted with creating and cultivating partnerships throughout South Carolina. Currently, Martin serves as the Lead Economic Development Specialist for the SBA Virginia District Office.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Service Counseling from Regent University and serves as an Advising Manager for PhD and Master level students at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. Veronica is an Adjunct Instructor at Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, Virginia and serves on the Board of Directors of The World Wide Women’s Group, Inc. and The Beacon of Hope, Inc.
